Enjoy the new CWM6, last version, finally for our beloved S2 i9100, no root and from stock recovery
New CWM features
Recovery will confirm that your ROM still
has root access. This is useful on stock
ROMs.
Recovery disables the stock recovery
flasher. This is also useful on stock ROMs.
If you’re on a stock ROM and get an
update, it used to not allow you to install it
at all. Now, it will give you the option to
confirm the installation.
ClockworkMod Recovery 6: Create Android
Update zips on device: Using this new
feature, anyone can create an update.zip
package of their currently installed ROM for
others to use.
Much better user interface, bigger menus,
smoother scroll, works with both touch and keys
Will work on any i9100 phone with ICS,
even stock non rooted
No PC needed, only and android device and
the zip files that you download to your sd
card
Fully reversible after reboot
No Yellow Triangle and No custom counter
increased
Flashing instructions for stock recovery :
Download cwm-touch-6.0.1.1-
i9100.zip , the last cwm v6.0.1.1 for
i9100 Galaxy S2. This version works
with touch AND with keys to scroll
in menus
Put the previously downloaded cwm-
touch-6.0.1.1-i9100.zip file on your
external sd card
Boot into stock recovery (volume up
+home+power) , and select “apply
update from external storage”. Now
select the cwm-touch-6.0.1.1-
i9100.zip file you copied in previous step
You get CWM recovery interface (this
custom recovery is temporary, not
permanent)
You are done

For Root SGS use this method :
wipe in this version on affected phones, so
rommanager
Put the previously downloaded file
on your external sd card
Download the attached root
I advise Chainfire SuperSU for 2 reasons: it
lets you unroot from within superSU
application and it lets you migrate to
ChainsDD superuser if you like later
Copy the Root_XXX.zip file you
downloaded to internal sd card
Boot into stock recovery (volume up
+home+power) , and select “apply
update from external storage”. Now
select the recovery-
the file
you copied in previous step (this step gives cwm-touch-6.0.1.1-i9100.zip
a temporary flash that will disappear after
reboot)
You get CWM recovery interface (this
custom recovery is temporary, not
permanent)
Inside CWM, select “install zip from
sdcard” . Then, select “choose zip from
sdcard” . Now, scroll down to the “superSU + busybox.zip” file and hit power button to
install it.
It will add SuperSU or Superuser last
version apk to system/app, last superuser
binary (su) to system/xbin and busybox
last version to system/xbin, all with correct
file permissions.
Reboot and you get permanent root +
busybox installed on your stock kernel.
